Welcome to NeuroAttachment

Discover the Right Support

When people reach out to me, they often say, “I know I need support — I’m just not sure what kind of help I need.” It’s an honest and important question, and one we deeply respect. Choosing the right kind of support isn’t just about finding someone to talk to; it’s about matching your goals with the kind of relationship and guidance that will serve you best.

In our work, we help people grow, learn, and lead more connected lives.  Drawing on the science of attachment and neuroscience, we help clients understand how their brain and body respond to stress and connection. What we don’t provide is therapy — not because therapy isn’t valuable (it absolutely is), but because it’s a different kind of work, and one that requires a licensed therapist.

Our goal is to help you understand what each type of support offers so you can find the best fit for where you are right now.

Coaching: Growth That’s Present and Forward-Focused

Coaching is about growth. It’s where awareness meets action — and together, we focus on what’s happening in your life right now and where you’d like to be next. Coaching helps you understand your responses, your patterns, and your nervous system, so you can begin creating new experiences of safety and confidence.

In coaching, you’ll learn how your attachment patterns and your brain’s wiring influence your relationships and decisions. From there, we practice new ways of relating — to yourself and the people you love — that build trust, connection, and resilience.

  • Parenting example: A parent might notice they get overwhelmed when their child doesn’t listen. Instead of reacting automatically, we’d explore what’s happening in their body and practice responding in calmer, more connected ways.
  • Individual example: An individual might use coaching to break old cycles of self-doubt, learn to regulate when stress hits, and strengthen their sense of agency.
  • Couples example: Couples coaching helps partners understand one another’s attachment styles and develop real-time tools for co-regulation and communication that deepen connection.

Coaching doesn’t diagnose or treat — it builds awareness, practice, and self-trust. It’s about creating forward motion rooted in understanding and courage.

Therapy: Healing the Past and Integrating What Hurts

Therapy focuses on healing — exploring the impact of past experiences, trauma, or mental health symptoms that affect today’s life and relationships. Licensed therapists have the training to guide you through that deeper emotional work with safety and clinical support.

While our work is informed by therapeutic research, I don’t provide mental health diagnosis or treatment. We often encourage clients who are working through significant emotional wounds, trauma, or clinical symptoms to partner with a therapist. Therapy and coaching can work beautifully together — therapy to heal, coaching to grow.

The Sweet Spot: Finding What Serves You Best

Choosing between coaching and therapy isn’t about right or wrong — it’s about goodness of fit.

Ask yourself:

  • Am I trying to heal, or am I ready to grow?
  • Do I need emotional processing, or do I need structure and strategy?
  • Do I need both — and want to make sure my support stays within ethical boundaries?

In our practice, we sit firmly in that space between insight and action. Our role is to help you build awareness, align with your values, and practice tools that support connection — within yourself and your relationships. If therapy is part of your journey, we are happy to collaborate with your mental health provider so your growth feels supported on all sides.

The bottom line is this: your story deserves care and clarity. The right kind of help should leave you feeling empowered, not uncertain. If you’re wondering where to start, we can explore it together — no pressure, just curiosity and conversation. You deserve support that fits.
